Dr. Amanda Fallin-Bennet

Amanda Fallin-Bennett is an assistant professor in the University of Kentucky College of Nursing and the program director for Voices of Hope, a Lexington-based nonprofit advocacy group for people impacted by addiction. She is a former National Institutes of Health (NIH) K12 Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women’s scholar and has experience leading clinical research trials as a principal investigator funded by NIH and other private non-profit agencies. She has experience working with women with substance use disorders and women in recovery, specifically from opioid use disorder to promote lifelong recovery and holistic health.
HEALing Communities Study role: Fallin-Bennett led the implementation and evaluation of the recovery support services programming including telephone recovery support, recovery coaching training and recovery meetings.
